Marie Hugny︎︎︎ is a designer whose work stems from mysticism in dialogue with the present, seeking to reflect, to reactivate, to transmit myths, not with perfection but perhaps rather to create a kind of escape. Work also enriched by new technologies which consider the digital as a creative entity, a demiurge. Inspired by research, articles and books of all kinds, her projects also orbit around language, languages, from letter to parenthesis, or even translation, she searches within this corpus for the mystical, this gray area which no longer directly evokes things but rather triggers interior vibrations, more pure, more sincere. Language is for her a landscape, the excavation of a past, present, or future thought, the architecture of conversation, that she unearths like an archaeologist, polished and appropriated through installations, books, dishes, sounds…
